My Journey

Interned at Globe Telecom

While studying for my IT degree, I took an internship at Globe Telecom, a major telecommunications provider in the Philippines. I worked for the in-house web development team as a Web Designer which cultivated my interest and knowledge in digital products.

Web & Graphic Designer

My first job was at BrillKids Inc, a software company based in Hong Kong, specialising in early education. As designer, I was tasked with creating 2d animations, desktop publishing and providing graphics for multiple websites and software.

Senior UI & Web Designer

After that, I worked for Hello Pal Asia Ltd where I transitioned to web design, front-end development. I was also part of the design team working mobile app projects in language education, travel and livestreaming.

Designed and developed company website and Wordpress conversion.
Worked closely with Marketing Team in creating in-app landing pages.
Worked on UI design for Hello Pal, Travel Pal and Language Pal apps.
Worked on email templates and other online marketing assets.

Worked on Little Reader storybooks, packaging and advertising materials.
Redesigned and developed various websites, email templates and other online marketing assets.
Animated company Quick Tour promotional video.
Worked on UI design for Little Reader Touch app.

Graphic Designer

BrillKids Int’l Ltd, Central, Hong Kong | 2009 - 2010

Supported Senior Designer with day-to-day design work.
Helped create design components for BrillKids products.
Designed and front-end development of the BrillKids portal.
Provided assets and various animations for Little Reader, Little Math and Little Musician.
